With all of the traveling exhibits that come through our extremely art-blessed city, the real-deal local work often falls by the wayside. But a new exhibit at Studio Gallery, “A Person and a Story,” spotlights local DC photographers and some of their favorite portraits. This exhibit—which opened Wednesday—pairs each portrait with the photographer’s story of what inspired the image. An opening reception tonight from 6 – 8 p.m. spotlights the five featured photographers: Keith Lane, Matt Dunn, Jim Darling, Joshua Cogan, and Joshua Yospyn.
