Every weekday, 46 families across the country hear the dreaded news that their child has cancer. In a triumphant effort to combat that statistic, 46 women who have experienced this life-altering event took the stage in Union Station’s main terminal this week to shave their heads in order to raise money and awareness for cancer research. In front of a crowd that included ABC 7′s Arch Campbell and Real Housewife of DC Mary Amons, the women sheared it all in what turned out to be a moving and inspirational event.
