Escape the rain by spending a day marveling at some of the world’s finest art inside the Phillips Collection, which is waiving its admission fee today.

Today is International Museum Day. Today is also rainy with a heavy chance of gross. Whet your cultural appetite without getting soaked by visiting the Phillips Collection between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Dupont destination is waiving its regular $10 admission fee and offering free access to the nearly 3,000 works in the museum’s permanent collection. After checking out Renoir, Cézanne, Degas, Matisse, Picasso, Monet, and other heavy hitters found in the Phillips’s heralded Impressionist portfolio, check out Howard Hodgkin’s prints at the special 90 Years of New exhibit in honor of the museum’s 90th anniversary.
